Anything that's first are indeed sweet and joyful - first crush, first love, first day at school, first day at work, first day as husband and wife and the much sweeter and happier is to see your first baby.Thats how we felt when baby Neo Zylair came to our life. It was not sweet indeed during labor but seeing him the first time when I delivered him was unexplainable. It was more than a cloud 9 and much better feeling of winner in a lottery. Neo brought more color and energy to the house despite with all the sleepless nights.
He was a great gift for us thats why as gratitude to God, we as parents obeyed to follow the first sacrament which was Baptism. We decided to have him baptized on his first month - last February 28, 2010 in "Christ The King Church" in Mandaue. It was a simple yet fulfilling because you will know that your baby will be blessed and protected by the good angel.
The rite started with a Pre-Jordan seminar attended by the parents and sponsors. It was a quick and unexpected decision for us to have him baptized earlier than we planned which should be on his 3rd month but because of some constraints,we just had it early.
Like Father Like Son?!! lol
We invited only family members on both sides and close friends as sponsors like our long time friends since high school,Mark and Jieclecia,Gerald(my sister's fiancee),Aunt Elena ,Diane (blair's cousin) and the other sponsors was my friend Nova an her husband Stu whose in the USA right now. They are the ones who helped us all the way through thick and thin and hopefully will be a good second parents to Neo
